Salvador Capetillo of Performance Elite Running Club, a former standout at Mt. San Antonio College who attended Adams State, took third in the men's invitational 8-kilometer race in 23:46.2 at the UC Riverside Cross Country Invitational at the Ag-Ops Course in Riverside, Calif. Capetillo has one remaining season of collegiate track eligibility and is expected to compete in the spring for NCAA Division 2 program Azusa Pacific University.
