2010 (redshirt): Competed in just the indoor season and was the NAIA runner-up in the 600-meters, clocking a personal-best 1:19.65, the fifth fastest performer in program history ... Was third in the "Run for the Dream" 600-yards with 1:16.01 ... Clocked a season-best 48.06 in the 400 ... Redshirted the outdoor season, leaving him one indoor and outdoor season each for the 2011 season.
2009 (junior): Joined the Cougar program at semester break and wasted little time making an impact ... Earned NAIA indoor All-America recognition by finishing fourth in the 600 meter (1:20.20) ... Clocked a 1:20.15, the tenth fastest time in school history, during the NAIA 600 prelims ... Qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Championships but did not advance out of the 400 meters ... Had a hand in 28 points at the GSAC Championship Meet in San Diego, running legs on the Cougars' winning 4x400� and 4x800-meter relays and finishing second in the 400-meters (48.04).
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Ran 2 seasons of track & field for former Cougar great Blackman Ihem at Chaffey Community College in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. ... As a 2008 sophomore was the Foothill Conference champ in the 800 (1:56) and was ranked among the top 40 in U.S. community colleges in the 800 ... Was a 2-time Southern California juco runner-up in the 800, clocking a best of 1:54.6 as a sophomore.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 7-time all-state honoree in track and cross country during a 4-year career at Warren (Ark.) High where he competed for head coach James White ... As a 2004-05 senior finished third (16:40/5K) in the state cross country meet and was the state champ in the indoor the 800-meters (2:03.0) ... Was the state runner-up in the outdoor 800 (2:00) ...
